About Active Data Metrics

Combined industrial and IT expertise

We develop better ways to collect shop floor data without handwritten timesheets and awkward, inefficient shop floor data collection systems provided with many ERP Management Information Systems.

Matthew Peacock, Director

Matthew has a degree in production engineering and learned how not to run a factory during his student apprenticeship at Raleigh bicycles. His first management post in an enlightened electronics company sparked a life-long interest in engaging people to make businesses fulfilling and secure places to work. Since then he has been a senior general and operations manager in companies making electrical machines, hydraulics and plastics. He also has 15 years of Lean coaching and training, mostly in printing companies.

Matthew uses a pragmatic approach to problem solving and enjoys the combination of technical, commercial and leadership challenges faced inside all companies. Overcoming challenges collecting productivity data has led Matthew to his part in developing the ActKPI system.
